Our Story
Mikey Rogoway, the first All Aboard participant
The Founders of All Aboard
All Aboard was founded by Gene and Marie Rogoway in 2002.
They started All Aboard for their son with down syndrome, Mike, and his friends. After Mike and his classmates finished the high school special education program, it became a struggle to find activities that they could participate in and ways to socialize with his friends. So, Mike was becoming more and more isolated and withdrawn.
When the local parks department art program was cancelled due to lack of funding, Gene and Marie set their sights to start All Aboard.
Now, many years later, with the assistance of volunteers and staff, All Aboard is blossoming and generating activities that provide a social and caring environment for adults living with developmental disabilities.
